Q2 Highlights:

An Underwater Installation and Budget Conversations

That’s a wrap on the second quarter of 2020. We’ve officially entered into Summer and Q3, which makes it the perfect time to reflect on what transpired over the last three months, and share a few insights on what to expect going forward.

Product Demonstrations: Although Cretex Specialty Products temporarily suspended our free product demonstrations for a portion of Q2, we were able to execute a handful of demos in a slightly modified fashion. CDC guidelines, social distancing and a few other precautions were followed that enabled the customer and our team to experience a demo safely. 

PRO-RING: The PRO-RING has been gaining more, and more acceptance, and use, throughout the Unites States, Canada and Australia. The benefits of a light-weight product that also supports fast installation and repair have certainly helped a number of industries complete their work during unprecedented times.

Budget Conversations: We don’t shy away from talking about budget with our customers. Instead, we walk through the details with them, and review cost comparisons. We’ve done it more often in the past couple of months, and encourage you to give us a call, if budget and completing manhole installations or repairs are on your mind.

Q3 and Beyond

As we look ahead to Q3, and even Q4, we are thrilled to share that our free product demonstrations are back on! These demonstrations are a great way to interact with customers, while helping solve their inflow challenges. To support a safe working environment for all involved, we’ve adopted a new policy that relates to in-field and in-person product demonstrations. We will be: 

  • Following the guidelines put in place by the city, and the specific work site
  • Practicing social distancing
  • Using face coverings if required, or if social distancing cannot be maintained
  • Avoiding handshake greetings
  • Wearing gloves and washing hands frequently
  • We will not be sharing tools or other materials

We are confident that these practices will keep our customers and team members safe, while providing an in-depth look at our products, and how easy they are to install. This easy installation means less time spent on a job, and can translate into saving money as well.
